Extended Warranty Details

FireStationFurniture.com is happy to offer our customers an extended warranty option for all of our products!

This extended warranty is administered by Consumer Priority Service, Inc., and is not administered by FireStationFurniture.com. This is separate from the original manufacturer's warranty provided at no charge at the time of the sale.

Details of the Extended Warranty are below:

• Warranty is 5-years from the date of the purchase, taking over after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty
• Warranty does cover manufacturer's defects
• Warranty does cover accidental damage
• Warranty does cover pet damage
• Warranty does cover mechanical failures
• Warranty DOES NOT cover misuse or abuse

Exclusions:

• Plan does not cover failures as a result of: misuse, abuse, intentional damage, rust or corrosion, mistreatment, including but not limited to removal of parts and intentional damage by people, pests or foreign objects found inside the equipment.
• Plan does not cover deterioration or appearance of the product, or finish defects such as paint, plastic, dents, scratches and chips that were not caused by a single occurence.
• Plan does not cover any damage resulting from unauthorized replacement parts, improper service or modifications made to the covered product(s).
• Plan does not cover structural or mechanical loss occuring during the manufacturer's warranty period and any loss due to the failure to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance, specifications or operating instructions during the term of the Plan.
• Any loss resulting from collision with another object or any damage while the product is in transit is excluded.
• Any loss resulting from the manufacturer's recall or rework, regardless of manufacturer's ability to pay for such repairs, is excluded.
• Repair, replacement, installation or modification of any component or part thereof, that has been, or is, determined to be defective by the Consumer Product Safety Commission or for which manufacturer has issued, or issues, a warning, recall or determination of defect. 

Furniture Protection:

Coverage: This Plan will repair or replace eligible products due damage caused by following:

Fabric Leather and Wood Furniture

• Heat marks and burns, punctures and rips (excluding seems, and wood), fading from the sun (wood only), failure of motors and associated components, breakage of frames or mechanisms, checking, cracking, bubbling, peeling of finish or lifting of veneers from a single occurrence (wood only), mirror loss of silvering or chipping, glass breakage, scratch or gouge penetrating through the surface
• Stains caused by human and pet bodily fluids, food and beverage spills, facial cosmetics, nail polish, grease and oil, paint and dye, crayon, ink and markers, grass and mud, dye transfer (color from jeans or newspapers)
• Pet damage, claws and jaws (single occurrence)

Additional Furniture Exclusions:

• General soiling or accumulated stains that cannot be attributed to a single occurrence
• Stains or damage from mildew, mold, acid, bleach, rust, corrosion or odors
• Stains or damage caused by transit, delivery, assembly or movement between locations
• Loss of foam resiliency
• Pilling or fraying of upholstery
• Fading, color loss and/or discoloration of upholstered furniture
• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods
• Damage due to acts of god, theft, negligence, riot or any other peril
• Outdoor fire pits, heaters and umbrellas
• Accessories or throw pillows sold with sofas and loveseats

This extended warranty is available FREE with the purchase of 3 or more of the same recliners, or a combination of recliners and other product.

Cost of extended warranty:

• Up to 10 pieces/$500 max retail value: $69.99
• Up to10 pieces/$800 max retail value: $99.99
• Up to 25 pieces/$10,000 max retail value: $149.99
• Up to 30 pieces/$15,000 max retail value: $249.99

There is a $99 deductible that is to be paid at the time of the claim.

In the event the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced through FireStationFurniture.com.

Obligations of this plan are guaranteed under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy issued by Plateau Casualty Insurance Company. Should the ADMINISTRATOR fail to pay or provide service on a claim, including claims related to the return of unearned portion of the premium, within sixty (60) days after proof of loss has been filed, the contract holder is entitled to make a claim directly against the service contract reimbursement insurance company, Plateau Casualty Insurance Company, located at 2701 N.
