The Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department, established in 1961, covers more than 120 square miles, one the largest areas in Harrison County. This is all made possible with 3 Stations, Station 1 Ramsey, Station 2 New Salisbury, and Station 3 Frenchtown. A fleet of 18 trucks and 32 active members. RVFD also provides ambulance coverage for Harrison Co. if HCH trucks are busy on other runs.
